Bar Mix Recipes

Helpful Hints:

  • Adjust water to taste before adding alcohol. Alcohol will not water down taste. 
  • All of our bar mixes can be made kid friendly or as a virgin version by not adding the alcohol.
  • During a party or event, store extra mix in refrigerator to speed up refreeze process.

Margarita: In a 5 gallon mixing container, add 1 bottle of Van Tone Top Shelf Margarita mix (We carry Lime, Strawberry and Original Margarita Mixes) with 3.5 Gallons cold water and 3 Liters Tequila. Optional: Add 16 oz Triple Sec.  Shake well.  For Swirls just alternate between Original Margarita and Strawberry Margarita

Daiquiri: In a 5 gallon mixing container, add 1 bottle of Van Tone Top Shelf Strawberry Daiquiri mix with 3.5 Gallons of cold water and 1.75 Liter of Rum.  Shake well.

Bellini: In a 5 gallon mixing container, add 1 bottle of Van Tone Peach Bellini mix with 3.25 Gallons of cold water and 6 - 750mL of Champagne, 1 Liter of Rum.  Optional: Replace Rum with 1/2 Liter of Peach Schnapps.  Shake well.

Pina Colada: In a 5 gallon mixing container, add 1 bottle of Van Tone Top Shelf Pina Colada mix with 3.5 Gallons of cold water and 1.75 Liter of Rum.  Shake well.

Blue Hawaiian: In a 5 gallon mixing container, add 1 bottle of Van Tone Blue Hawaiian mix with 3.5 Gallons of cold water and 2 Liters of Rum.  Shake well.

Hurricane: In a 5 gallon mixing container, add 1 bottle of Van Tone Hurricane mix with 3.5 Gallons of cold water and 2 Liters of Rum.  Shake well.

Lynchburg (Also known as Jack’s Lemonade): In a 5 gallon mixing container, add 1 bottle of Van Tone Ole Time Lemonade with 3.5 Gallons of cold water and 2 Liters of Jack Daniels. Optional: Add 4 Liters of Sprite or Another Optional: Substitute 1 ¾ Liters of Crown or Maker’s Mark.  Shake well.

Hard Lemonade: In a 5 gallon mixing container, add 1 bottle of Van Tone Ole Time Lemonade with 3.5 Gallons of cold water and 2 Liters of Vodka.   Shake well.

Mudslide: In a 5 gallon mixing container, add 1 bottle of Van Tone Mocha Cappuccino with 2 Gallons of cold milk (your choice of either whole or lowfat) and 1 Liter of Kahula or Bailey’s.  Shake well.

Chocolate Martini: In a 5 gallon mixing container, add 1 bottle of Van Tone Mocha Cappuccino with 2 Gallons of cold milk (your choice of either whole or lowfat) and 1 Liter of Vodka.  Shake well.

Brandy Alexander: In a 5 gallon mixing container, add 1 bottle of Van Tone Mocha Cappuccino with 2 Gallons of cold milk (your choice of either whole or lowfat) and 1 Liter of Brandy. Shake well.
